Awarded to Ernest Abuba

The Red Socks Award was created to honor the memory of Lilah Kan and was established by her sons, Jeremy and Jonathan Spear and family friend,
actor John FitzGibbon.

Lilah Kan was a theatre professional, chef, archer, writer, mother hen, and tireless supporter of artists who needed a hand at one time or another.

Each year an artist is recognized for this award and is nominated in rotation by
Pan Asian Repertory Theatre, NAATCO and
Ma-Yi Theatre.
Past awardees are: Rosanne Ma, Lloyd Suh and Nicky Paraiso.

New York Artists Gather for China Earthquake Relief to Benefit UNICEF
    presented by Matrix Music Collaborators

Pan Asian Repertory Theatre was featured in an international line up of artists and musicians to benefit UNICEF's efforts to aid the victims of the May 12 earthquake in Sichuan Province, China. Tina Chilip, Kathleen Kwan and Rosanne Ma, from last fall's The Joy Luck Club, performing a scene from the acclaimed production.
